It’s May already which means practices start this month!! The practice/meet/social calendar can be found on the website but we will also be utilizing TeamSnap for practices. This will allow you to easily add our schedule to your calendar as well as providing a way to collect attendance information for practices.

We will have a brief parent meeting on the first day of practice at 6:00PM for all 11&under parents (during the last 10 minutes of 8&U practice and before the 9-11 practice starts). If any 12&Up parents need information we can meet at the beginning of the last practice. We understand that a lot of spring sports are still in session, especially with playoffs, when practice begins but please try and make as many practices as schedules allow.

The team gear spirit wear store is open until May 13th. We added several new items this year: past years women's tank top now in white and grey, new design/cut women’s tank, shorts for women/men/girls/boys, and an athletic material white hat. We also have tie dye tshirts, long sleeve tee, sweatshirts, pajama pants and sweatpants. Every swimmer receives the team tshirt with their registration, these are additional items for swimmers and parents/family.

If you are still needing a team suit - the team group order is closed. However, the suit is available at many online retailers (Swim Outlet, etc). Our suit is the Speedo Linear Lava in Blue/Green - we ordered the leaderback style for girls and the jammer for boys but other strap/styles are available if you’re looking for a specific size. New event this year! The league has decided to pilot a 100M Freestyle event for 13-14 and 15-18. This year will be for data collecting and a decision will be made at the end of the year on whether to include it permanently. Ribbons will be awarded but points will not be counted toward team totals. This season only, during the pilot season, the event will not count toward a swimmer’s maximum events allowed and can be swam in addition to their 3 individual events plus relays. Timing of the race is up to the team reps involved in each meet and we will be sure to communicate that as early as possible leading up to each meet. It is not replacing the 50M Free for those age groups and it will not be an event at the Divisional or All Star meet.
